Flights to Koh Chang

If you are travelling between Bangkok and Koh Chang one option is to fly. Bangkok Airways operate flights between Bangkok International Airport and Trat three times a day during in high season (Nov - March).

Flight time is around 55 minutes and a full in flight cabin service is available. This includes a light meal and beverage.

Once you arrive at Trat Airport you can then catch either the airport minibus shuttle or arrange for private transport to Koh Chang.

Returning from Koh Chang to Trat Airport you should arrange for transport 3 hours before your flight is due to depart.

Flying between Bangkok and Trat you will be able to take in some stunning aerial views of Koh Chang and the surrounding area.

Travelling between Trat Airport & Koh Chang

The cost of a one way transfer between Trat Airport and Koh Chang are given below. For a return trip just double to price.

If you require transport to or from from the airport please indicate the type of transfer required on the flight booking form.

Arrival at your destination on Koh Chang will be between 1.5 and 2 hours after your flight lands.

When leaving Koh Chang transport will pick up from your resort approximately 3 hours before your flight is due to leave.

Travelling between Bangkok Airport & the City

If you are travelling from Bangkok International Airport into Bangkok City, a taxi is the best option. Taxis depart from the the second floor (first level) at the front of the airport building.

The cost of a taxi between Bangkok Airport and the city should be between 300 and 350 baht, if you travel on the motorway you will be asked to pay the road tolls.

There are also airport shuttle buses that depart from the ground floor. These busses will stop at many locations in the city including Suchumvit Road, Silom (Business District, Khao San Road and Banglampoo.

The Airport Shuttle leaves every 30 minutes and the cost should be around 170 baht.

Transfer the City to Bangkok Airport

Taxis going to airport can be organised by your hotel or guest house in Bangkok. However, you will find it is much cheaper to hail one yourself, from the street, and pay by the meter price.

You should expect to pay 300 baht from Suchumvit road area and 350 baht from Silom and Khao San Road.
